Preview Hosting Terms & Acceptable Use

These terms apply specifically to the free preview hosting service at *.preview.serverlesshub.biz (“the preview service”), operated by Serverless Hub (“ServerlessHub”, “we”, “us”). They are separate from our general website Terms of Use, which explicitly does not cover any hosting or platform service. If you use the preview service, these terms apply to that use in addition to the website terms. Any paid, managed hosting we provide is governed by a separate written service agreement, which takes precedence over these terms for that work.

What the preview service is

The preview service lets you register with an email address, verify it, upload a static site bundle, and receive a temporary live URL at a subdomain we assign (<id>.preview.serverlesshub.biz). It is provided free of charge, with no payment step, for evaluation, demos, and testing — not as a substitute for production hosting. It supports static content only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts. It does not run server-side code.

Limits

The free tier is bounded on purpose. Currently:

• Each email address may register at most two previews, in total, for as long as it uses the free tier. This is a lifetime limit, not a concurrent one — a suspended or otherwise inactive preview still counts toward it.
• Registration is rate-limited per email address and per network. If you hit a limit, the response tells you whether to wait and retry, or that the limit will not clear on retry.
• A preview expires 14 days after it is created, whether or not it has been used, and is then removed along with its content. Continuing to use a preview does not extend this window. We may, at our discretion, keep a specific preview alive longer than 14 days; this is not something you can request as of right, and we make no commitment to do so for any given preview.
• Bundle size, file count, and file types are capped, and enforced automatically at upload time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the preview service to:

• host content that is illegal, infringes anyone’s rights, or violates a third party’s terms;
• host phishing pages, credential-harvesting forms, malware, or content that impersonates a real person, brand, or organisation;
• store real customer data, personal data of others, or anything sensitive — the free tier is an evaluation environment, not a security-hardened production one;
• attempt to register accounts, bypass rate limits, or use the service in a scripted or automated way beyond what a normal developer workflow requires;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure; or
• use the service in any way that could reasonably put our ability to serve other free-tier users at risk.

Content review and suspension

We do not review content before it goes live. We run automated checks intended to catch obvious abuse (for example, phishing-style content) before publishing, and we act on abuse reports after the fact. Where we believe a preview violates this policy or the law, we may take it offline without prior notice. Where reasonably practical, we preserve the original content for review rather than deleting it immediately, and we will typically email the account used to register the preview. A precautionary takedown is not a final finding of wrongdoing; if it was a mistake, tell us and we will take another look.

No warranty

The preview service is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to availability, uptime, retention, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that a preview, once created, will remain available for any period, or that its content will not be lost, altered, or removed. Do not rely on the free tier for anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ownership

You retain ownership of whatever you upload to the preview service. We do not claim ownership of it, but you grant us the right to store, serve, and review it as needed to operate the service and enforce this policy.

Changes and discontinuation

We may change these terms, the free-tier limits, or the preview service itself, and may suspend or discontinue it entirely, at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision; continued use of the preview service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ServerlessHub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the preview service, including loss of content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and any dispute relating to them or to the preview service is subject to the courts of the Philippines.
